Sunday Funday October 2022

Prayers and Praises

Its been a really incredible month, and I’m so grateful that the weather has been mild for my Brazilian sensibilities. The first week of October I was able to attend the Kidz Matter confrence in Nashville, which was an encouraging and brainstorming time. We loved visiting our friends in Illinois, the Covered Bridge festival (the trees were amazing colors this year!), and the Missions Celebration for World Renewal.

I’d been working on the 2022 magazine and videos for the celebration for months, so when it was finished I blinked and was like “Oh yeah, now I get to figure out all the other stuff.” It is nice to have goals, work hard, achieve them, and start again. The girls got sick, with Jessica getting a mild case of RSV that’s been going around, but we are happily recovered.

Today, the last day of October, the Fergie family celebrated two years of living in the USA, having returned in 2020 with 8 suitcases and all the feelings. We are so grateful, and it is such a healthy and important thing to look back and see what what God has done, is doing, and will do.
