Praises and Prayers

Yay! We've reached the “most days are around 70 degrees” time, and I am here for it! We are loving family bike rides and I think I’ve officially killed the old grill already. Yard sales are back full-swing, and ALL the end of school year stuff. Sofia loved second grade, and got to go to the Zoo, Children’s Museum, and Sky Zone. Jessica and I snuggled extra, knowing that preschool is now over. Caid enjoyed the Men’s Advance confrence in Michigan, and has school/teacher stuff until June 5.

Our official summer is June 6-June 21, where Caid is off work and I am still in the country. Brazil preparations are moving along smoothy, as we have 39 people on this trip to Brazil (I will be gone June 22-July 7). Since we leave for Connecticut shortly after I return from Brazil, and then Caid starts teacher training the day after we return from Connecticut…our “Everyone at home together summer” is that two weeks.

The first camping of the year went smoothly (with the help of people who actually know how to camp), and cousin time in Chicago is a special memory worth taking time and money to make happen each year. May included a very sad goodbye to Cassie from church, who ran the missions (and more) program, and was a wonderful mentor. Caid has been monitoring his heart this month, getting some unusual beats checked out, but it all seems clear. We are excited about our aunt and uncle moving to Indy in early June, and new adventures to share with them.
