June/July SunFun

Prayer and Praises

If you didn’t notice, the website got an upgrade, and I made a new logo:). As I learn how to do things better at work, I sometimes remember to go back and try my new skills on my own things as well.

It has been a while. Not sorry about it, but I am wanting to catch up. June was lovely, with sunshine and unwinding from a long school year. The girls started the summer reading program, and we switched into our schedule without too much time on screens. I really love garage sales, especially now that Goodwill put all the other thrift stores out of business and sometimes is just too darn expensive now.

Sofia and Jessica enjoyed VBS with me at BRCC, where they were helping raise money for some ministries in Brazil, and then the time flew by and I was on my way to Brazil. Honestly, that is going to be a different post. I don’t have the videos done yet, but I did write a blog, which I will link below. The neighbor’s tree fell across our yard (and as of August 12th, is still there), but Caid kept the girls and my plants alive while I was gone, and they all had a good time together (not sure about the plants).

We did a quick turn around and left two days later for Connecticut, to visit Caid’s family, which was a wonderful time. NYC is always super fun and memorable, and for $40 each, the girls had better remember going to the Color Factory. Caid went to teacher training the day after we got back, and then the last day of July the girls started school (more on that in August! Summer was a blast, and now it will take most of August to get everything back onto schedule.
