The girls also did a video of all of the Bible verses they have memorized, but they didn’t want that video to be made public.
Praises & Prayers
What a beautiful month! The weather was great, and we had so many wonderful moments as a family! We celebrated some birthdays together (My mom, Esther, and Nathan), Sofia was student of the month and taught herself to crochet, we went on family bike rides, and Caid finished up his assistant soccer coaching season. Loved our yearly covered bridge tradition, and my annual big work event: the World Renewal Mission’s Fair & Celebration. The girls had two weeks of fall break, which put our schedule a big wonky, but Caid had one of the weeks off, so we took a quick trip, with Anna and Rowan, to Columbus Ohio. We were not disappointed!
Halloween continued to surprise me with how community connective it is. The church down the street did a Trunk or Treat, and on Halloween evening, two neighbors had to leave, so they came over to our house to deliver candy to our daughters! We love our annual tradition to pass out candy at Kids Inc. Trunk or Treat, and this year it was all K-pop Demon Hunters! Caid had surgery on the bump on the back of his head that the girls affectionately named “Larry.” It was not cancerous, but was a good decision to remove. He has had a great recovery. We also praise God that hurricane Melissa, that hit Jamaica, did not hit Caid’s hometown of Clarendon as badly. No friends and relatives were hurt, but damage is still being processed.
