March 2026

Prayers and Praises

March 1st started with Community Church of Greenwood’s IMPACT Sunday, which is like a mission’s fair, and we loved it. We celebrated Caid and Rowan’s birthday (one week apart), and Uncle Loren (who’s birthday fell on Easter this year, so we celebrated a bit early). March included two weeks of spring break for the girls, one week for Caid, and me figuring out how to squeeze my work in around all of that. We enjoyed a trip to Illinois and Ohio, one at the beginning and one at the end of spring break, with sleepovers and museums in between. It was a really lovely time, and we are grateful.

Caid had a cracked tooth that had to be removed, and I had a mammogram, but they both went well. We had some sniffles in the family, but no all out sickness. Caid has been stepping up and doing a great job speaking/teaching the girls more Portuguese as we prepare for our trip. There were a few beautiful sunny days, and we managed to clean out the garage and get our yard (and my parents yard) mowed for the first time of the year. It’s been a good season for shows—we’ve enjoyed House of David, One Piece (season 2), and Young Sherlock lately. What have you been watching?
