January 26 SunFun
Praises and Prayers
It took me half the month of January to finish December, so I feel like the rest of the month went pretty quickly, especially with 3 days of e-learning at the end of the month from a bunch of COOOOOOLD weather and snow. It didn’t help that I got a bad case of food poisoning right before being snowed in, adding to the restlessness. But the cat has caught multiple mice in our house and my parents house, and tales will be told of her greatness in Winzeler stories for many, many years. Jessica started learning how to play the ukulele, and I’ve got a tin whistle, so we will see how far we get with our New Years Resolutions.
Very greatful for fun times with the Millers and for Jasper’s birthday, as well as the Ladies retreat at church. We are so blessed to have such a great church community. Sofia has started the “Keeper of the Lost Cities” books, and all this snow has us diving into a record January for reading. Did you know that when you print out the recipt for the books you get from the Library, it tells you how much money you’ve saved, getting books from them rather than buying them? My current amount is over $50,000, and that is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. What does it mean to be married for 60 years?? So grateful to be able to celebrate with Uncle Loren and Aunt Carol!
