Protest Summary

The only King I know turns strangers into neighbors. The red letters of Christ are more important than any red or blue hat you might put on. 70-80 percent of us white evangelicals voted and still support a president who proudly hates his enemies, often lies and is working to consolidate more power: things that are antithetical to Christ. We are called to “Do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God.” Now is the opportunity to stand against a Christianity that says you have to wear a red hat to be a follower of Christ and return to those red letters of Jesus. Jesus invites us all to come and join Him. To follow Him. He turns all of the scary strangers near and far into neighbors to love and share life with. Following Him is the best life I know. Remember the greatest commandment, and lay aside what so easily besets us. Love God, and love our neighbors.
