Calling for Justice

My soul has been groaning, and feels so overwhelmed with all of the injustices happening, specifically to do with immigration. This list was made from a couple of weeks of listing out injustices before the Lord during my prayer time, and asking for his justice (and judgement).

It also breaks my heart to know that many people I love and respect do not think that these injustices are happening. Some of them find allegiance to the current administration more important, or believe that these injustices are just “fake news” made up to smear their political team. Some of them believe that immigrants deserve the injustices because they are not citizens. For whatever reason, they are blinded to the injustice that is happening, and I weep for that blindness.

I felt a pull to carefully label these injustices, to help myself remember, as well as to be a witness to them. Those who continue to remain willfully ignorant of what is happening will be judged as well.
