Online Schooling with the International School

With all the crazy Coronavirus, we’ve been doing online school at the International school since March 18. The state has then declared school vacation from April 1-15. Here is what we’ve been doing:

My Third grade students are watching a Themed video I made, An English Counting Exercise video, and a Sight Word video (we love the Jack Hartmann kids Music channel!)

The Olders:

We have 3 English classes a week, so please turn in 3 projects. For any chosen project, you may either: A. Write (300 words for 8&9 grade, 150 words for 6&7 ...

The basic idea is for them to try to incorporate English into their regular lives. We’ve had some really creative students make videos, memorize verses, and even make pancakes:).

The Vacation

I didn’t want to end our daily structure, so I came up with virtual vacations we can take each day, with the links nice and easy to click. Most of these you can find in articles around Facebook, or on Youtube.
