Prayers and Praises

They aren’t joking when they call it “Maycember” because of all the end of the school year things! May was a really lovely month for us Fergies, with garage sales and beautiful weather and bike rides and gardening. We had some birthdays to celebrate (Carina and my dad), some graduations, and then two really big things for us: Caid’s album release (he’s been working on it for 4 years!) and leading a camping trip open to everyone from our church (an idea we had at the beginning of the year that ended up working out really well!).

Caid and the girls all celebrated graduations (Caid as a teacher, Sofia finished 4th grade and Jessica finished 1st grade). There was all of the spirit weeks and field trips and awards while I was busy preparing for Brazil and working on my current book. I have the garden looking better than last year (honestly, that is normally my only goal for gardening…let’s get it a little better each year), and am training Sofia to water it while I am gone—I think we will have all the raspberries pop out while I am in Brazil! It was such a month of blessings, and we are grateful!
