Praise and Prayers

February was a fun month, and we were so grateful to have some fake spring sprinkled in, with our first family bike ride! Life has been really good in all the little moments. As you can see from the videos, Caid rocked out the Valentine’s Day family dance at the girls school. We’ve enjoyed three of those dances, and will miss them. Which leads to our next big news: we put in an offer for a house—our first house ever! We hope to close March 18th. It is near my parents’ home, and is a lovely Craftsman (read 104 years old) house. I am ready to put on my do-it-yourself pants on! It does mean a lot of changes coming up for our whole family, which we will take one day at a time. And we will really miss Bates-Hendricks and being able to walk to school.

Sofia has really loved being a part of a six week Ninja Warrior program through school—she defeated the 10 foot wall! We loved visiting our friends in Illinois (see video for proof), and I enjoyed attending the IF confrence. Caid has been rocking out music and choir, and had another performance: unfortunately, while my uncle was watching the show, he had a blackout, which lead to him going to the hospital and getting a pacemaker installed. We are so blessed and relieved that he is home now, and recovering well.
